Other FAQs

Where and when is the conference?

Horizons 2026 takes place Thursday, October 15 through Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the New York Academy of Medicine.

The New York Academy of Medicine is at 1216 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY 10029, on the Upper East Side, accessible by public transit via the 6 at the 103rd Street station or the 2 / 3 at the 110th Street station a short walk away.

Is there a preferred hotel?

There is no official conference hotel.

The closest option is the Marriott Courtyard Upper East Side on East 92nd Street.

Other hotels in Midtown East, East Harlem, the Upper West Side, and Long Island City are also convenient options.

Union Square and Nomad area hotels are typically 30 minutes door-to-door.

Is lodging provided?

Overnight accommodation is not included in the registration fee.

How do I get to the venue?

Bicycles and transit are recommended ways to arrive. We do not recommend driving.

NYAM is near the following subway stops and lines:

  • The 103rd Street stop on the 6, with a short walk down 103rd Street.
  • The 110th Street stop on the 2 / 3 lines, with a 15-minute walk through the northeast corner of Central Park.

If you require parking, make an advance reservation with a nearby garage.

Is this event accessible?

Yes, the New York Academy of Medicine is ADA-compliant for mobility.

Please contact us if you have a vision, hearing, or mobility need so that we can best support you.

Entrance

Please enter NYAM on East 103rd Street. Once inside, our main auditorium is on the ground floor, with elevators to the 2nd floor for classes and the 3rd floor for additional conference programming.

Restrooms

All restrooms have accessible stalls but no power doors.

Parking

Our venue does not offer on-site parking. We do not recommend driving or parking in Manhattan, in general. If you require parking, make an advance reservation with a garage.

Are CE credits available?

Horizons will not be offering CE / CME credits in 2026. The CE / CME accreditor landscape continues to be a difficult fit for psychedelics-focused programming.

May I photograph or record the talks?

In order to create a trustworthy environment for sharing and at the speakers' request, no recording of the event is permitted by anyone for any reason. We also ask that you consider any personal stories shared during the event to be private unless otherwise noted.

You can view our full Press and Recording Policy.

Can I volunteer at the conference?

As a community-oriented event, we welcome volunteer help. The volunteer form for Horizons 2026 will be available closer to the conference. Email volunteers@horizons-conf.org to be notified.
